It was an epic day out on the water with Capt. Elliott Fishing Guide Charters with my buddy John Doan. It started off a bit slow due to the weather we have had. Rain and temperatures of about 50 degrees fahrenheit made for the bite to be a bit sluggish. Then our luck changed a bit and I spotted and good place where I noticed some movement in the water. Using homerecker lures in the color “Mayhem Mullet” John was able to hook up to a nice sized speckled trout! To our surprise it turned out to be a 28″ trophy trout! the bite got better and we were also able to add some nice reds and more trout to our stringer.
